Frank Defesche

Senior Vice President and General Manager, Vault QualityOne

As senior vice president and general manager of Vault QualityOne, Frank is responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and customer success of Veeva's quality applications outside life sciences.

Since 1999, Frank has provided strategic guidance and services to customers for cloud-based enterprise applications and platforms. An early cloud pioneer, he has managed hundreds of cloud implementations and brings a wealth of knowledge on how to evaluate, deliver, and support cloud technology.

Frank joined Veeva in 2008 to build its professional services function. Prior, he spent eight years at salesforce.com where he began as one of the company's first consultants and went on to hold various product management and sales positions. Before joining salesforce.com, Frank worked at Dell and Trilogy Software.

Frank graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics.

Sophia Finn

Director, Strategy, Vault QualityOne

Sophia Finn serves as director for Vault QualityOne strategy. As the team’s resident quality subject matter expert, Sophia develops thought leadership, industry influence strategies, and sales and marketing collateral to drive brand awareness and product adoption.

Sophia brings to the team over 10 years of direct quality experience in regulated industries. She began her career with the FDA working in CBER’s vaccine lot release program and later moved to the FDA’s office of regulatory affairs as a regulatory microbiologist. Additionally, Sophia has managed CAPA, complaints, audit, and deviation programs in the medical device industry. Sophia has a master of science in bioscience in regulatory affairs from Johns Hopkins University and is an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor.

As director of product management of Vault QualityOne, Eric Morris is responsible for the development, design, and execution of the application’s strategic roadmap. With over 10 years of experience developing and deploying enterprise QMS and risk management software, he aims to solve established and emerging quality management challenges using cutting edge methods and technology.

Eric started his career as a quality management consultant and has held product and strategy leadership positions at IHS Inc. (now Sphera) and Intelex Technologies, where he was most recently the practice leader for safety, risk & sustainability. Eric holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN.

Leveraging 25 years of executive and business development experience, Ed serves as vice president for Vault QualityOne business development. In this role, Ed is responsible for framing and execution of Veeva’s strategy to expand its market footprint outside of the life sciences industry.

Ed brings significant experience helping businesses gain traction and drive growth within new markets by focusing on customer success. Prior to joining Veeva, Ed led sales, marketing and business development functions at ClearCare, a vertical SaaS company servicing the home care market. At ClearCare, Ed managed the end-to-end business development processes from demand generation to contract close. Ed has also held sales leadership roles at several technology companies, including Legato Systems, Tivoli Systems, BEA, Adobe, and Salesforce.

As director of sales for Veeva Vault QualityOne, Greg is responsible for managing global sales efforts and building strategic relationships with leading companies across multiple verticals.  

Greg is an experienced executive who has spent over 15 years in enterprise software sales, most of which focused on mobile multi-tenant cloud based technologies. Before assuming his current role, Greg spent four years managing some of Veeva’s most strategic global client relationships. 

Prior to Veeva, Greg spent over a decade managing strategic accounts at Salesforce and Skura Corporation. Greg has a unique ability to build successful long-term client relationships.

As senior director of Vault Platform Services, Patrick is responsible for the services delivery, growth, and customer success of Vault Platform.

Since 2000, Patrick has provided strategic guidance and implementation services to customers for cloud-based enterprise applications and platforms.

Patrick joined Veeva in 2010 as part of Veeva’s professional services organization. Prior, Patrick worked with Fujitsu Consulting, where he managed and lead implementations to support customers’ needs in CRM, multichannel marketing, financial management, data warehouse design, and enterprise reporting. Before working at Fujitsu Consulting, Patrick worked at CIT and PDI, Inc.
